Kaolin for Construction

Ordinary concrete creates Calcium Hydroxide (Free Lime) as a byproduct during curing. This lime is weak, soluble, and prone to leaching, which causes efflorescence and weakness.

Darson Calcined Kaolin (Metakaolin) is a highly reactive pozzolan. It reacts with this free lime to convert it into additional Calcium Silicate Hydrate (C-S-H) gel. This gel is the "glue" that gives concrete its strength, making the final structure significantly denser, stronger, and more resistant to chemical attack.
