Kaolin for Construction

Construction products such as tile adhesive powders, wall putty, skim coat, joint compounds, and polymer-modified renders all require inert mineral fillers that add body, control workability, and reduce shrinkage without reacting with binders.

UT-WHITE hydrous kaolin at D50 4.571 µm works as a functional mineral filler in dry-mix construction products. Its fine particle size improves dispersion and flow in powder formulations, while chemical inertness ensures compatibility with cement, gypsum, and polymer binders. Low oil absorption (0.468 g/g) allows high filler loading without compromising spreadability.

Chemically inert at ambient temperature; compatible with cement, gypsum, and polymer binders in dry-mix mortars, putty, and renders without unwanted side reactions.

Workability Aid

Fine D50 4.5 µm particle size improves powder flow and application consistency in tile adhesive powders, skim coat, and dry-mix mortar formulations.

Cost Extender

Extends more expensive mineral components at high loading with low oil absorption (0.468 g/g), reducing formulation cost while maintaining spreadability and bond strength.

UT-WHITE

UT-WHITE is a natural hydrous kaolin with 96.6% ISO brightness, ground to D50 4.571 µm using alumina ball milling to prevent iron contamination. Acts as a mineral filler and extender in cement composites, textured coatings, and tile adhesive systems.
