Prevents film sticking blocking and improves thermal properties in agriculture.
In plastic film production (PE/PP), smooth layers tend to stick together due to strong surface contact (blocking), making them difficult to unroll.
Kaolin creates microscopic "bumps" on the film surface. This roughness prevents the layers from sealing flat against each other, allowing easy unrolling. Additionally, Calcined Kaolin absorbs Infrared (IR) heat, making it perfect for greenhouse films to retain heat at night (Thermic Effect).
Kaolin particles create separation between film layers
Traps heat in greenhouses (thermic effect) better than silica.
Fine particle size maintains transparency of the plastic film.
Compatible with all major polymers (PE, PP, PVC, PET).
Grades for plastic compounding and masterbatch — improving stiffness, reducing resin cost, and enhancing surface finish in PE, PP, and PVC applications.
A high-brightness filler for polyolefin and PVC compounding. Its platelet morphology improves stiffness and barrier properties in film and pipe applications, while its white colour makes it ideal for natural and light-coloured masterbatch.
A fine, washed grade for premium plastic applications where surface aesthetics matter. Low grit content prevents surface defects and equipment wear, essential for thin films, clear compounds, and high-gloss injection-moulded parts.
Our upcoming calcined grade with maximum brightness and ultra-low metallic content, targeting engineering plastics, medical-grade compounds, and specialty films where purity and optical performance are non-negotiable.
